Avantor Performance Materials, a global manufacturer and supplier of high-performance chemistries, has appointed Helen Evans as Executive Vice President, Laboratory Products.
Evans brings nearly 25 years of life sciences experience to the role. Most recently, she was General Manager – Research Markets, US and Canada for GE Healthcare. Prior to this, Evans held various leadership positions with Whatman, a manufacturer and supplier of laboratory products that was acquired by GE Healthcare in 2008, including positions in business development, strategic marketing, sales and product management.
In her new role, Evans will be accountable for all commercial endeavours of Avantor’s laboratory products, including strategy development. She will be based at Avantor’s corporate headquarters in Center Valley, PA, US.
