Bert Verhage appointed Manager of new Diapharm BV

Bert Verhage will assume management of the new Diapharm BV in Breda (Netherlands).

The new wing of German advice services company, Diapharm, will provide quality assurance, pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs advice to the he Benelux Union; Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.

To date, the physician and specialist for internal medicine has been responsible for the areas of business development and regulatory affairs, among others, as a member of the management team at Will-Pharma (Belgium).

x“Owing to his vast network within the pharmaceutical industry, his medical expertise and experience in managing a pharmaceutical company, Bert Verhage is the perfect addition to Diapharm,” said Ralf Sibbing, General Manager of the parent company.

After completing his medical degree in Rotterdam and Toronto, Verhage initially worked as a hospital physician. He headed the foundation known as Transmuraal Netwerk from 2005 to 2009, which promotes the integration of healthcare services in Holland, before switching to the pharmaceutical industry.
