Peter Lucas has joined Bibby Scientific as president for the western hemisphere.
Lucas was formerly North American director of marketing – Laboratory Solutions at Sartorius, and previously worked for Merck KGaA Millipore.
The appointment comes at a time of significant expansion to Bibby Scientific’s US-based operations and coincides with major new product releases in the Techne and Jenway ranges.
One of four new companies established by Nova Capital from the former Barloworld Scientific business which it acquired in November 2007, Bibby Scientific focuses on the design, manufacture and distribution of four benchtop laboratory equipment brands: Jenway, Stuart, Techne and Electrothermal.
