Brenntag opens head office in India

To take advantage of growth potential in Indian market

Global chemicals distributor Brenntag has opened a 15,000ft2 head office in Mumbai, India, which will provide room for the firm’s planned growth in the region over the next few years.

Brenntag established its presence in India in 2008 and focuses on various industry segments including pharmaceuticals. The new office adds to a further six offices located in all major industrial locations in India and Brenntag’s growing presence in the Asia Pacific region, which includes more than 40 offices in 15 countries.

Steven Holland, chief executive of Brenntag Group, said: ‘India is a key market in Brenntag’s global strategy. We already have a strong foothold in India and we expect to take advantage of the high growth potential in the Indian market.’

The new head office is centrally located at Ackruti Centre Point, Andheri (East), Mumbai and will have room for more than 100 employees. At present, 44 people are based at the new office. Brenntag also has offices and distribution facilities in Baddi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Gurgaon, Haridwar and Hyderabad.
