ClinTec International has opened two new offices in Spain, while also appointing Carlos Palacios as Regional Manager for Spain and Portugal.
Palacios joins ClinTec from Merck Serono where he had oversight of Global Trials across Spain, Portugal, Israel and the Netherlands. He has more than 16 years of experience in the clinical research industry at local and global levels. He has degrees in Pharmaceuticals and Veterinary Science, along with an MBA from Comillas Pontifical University, ICAI – ICADE in Madrid.
The creation of the new Regional Management post is in line with the significant increase in the size of ClinTec’s Spain-based team which has grown considerably over the last 12 months.
The opening of larger premises in Barcelona and a new hub in Madrid cement the firm's capability for expanding its local clinical trial portfolio, while accommodating larger outsourcing contracts in Spain.
