Dr Harley Simon has joined contract research organisation ClinTec International as Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and Executive Vice President (EVP) Client Relations. Simon is a doctor registered in the UK and South Africa and has almost 20 years of experience in Clinical Medicine and Clinical Research.
Prior to joining ClinTec, Simon was an Executive Director of Clinical Research at Merck & Co and spent 14 years in management positions within the pharmaceutical company.
While at Merck, Simon served as Executive Director of Clinical Research and was responsible for the Eastern European, Middle East and Africa (EEMEA) and Asia Pacific (AP) regions.
Simon takes responsibility for leading and generating value within ClinTec’s partnerships with pharmaceutical and biotech clients.
