Codexis, a US-based developer of engineered enzymes for pharmaceutical, biofuel and chemical production, has hired Scott Watson as Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
Watson has more than 25 years of experience in sales, marketing and business development, including in the pharmaceutical and fine chemicals markets.
Most recently Watson was Executive Director of Sales and Marketing at AMPAC Fine Chemicals. From 2008–2009, he was Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Girindus. Prior to this, he held sales positions of growing responsibility with various companies, including Aptuit, DSM and Eastman Chemical Company.
Watson is a former officer in the US Navy.
