Daicel Corporation has appointed Dieter Heckmann as executive officer. As a member of the executive leadership team he will take responsibility for the global operations of the chemical firm’s Chiral Pharmaceutical Ingredients (CPI) company.
He will report to Misao Fudaba, president and ceo of Daicel Corporation.
In addition to his new duties for CPI, Heckmann will retain his role as ceo of Chiral Technologies Europe (Illkirch, France), Chiral Technologies Inc (West Chester, PA), and Daicel Chiral Technologies (India) (Hyderabad).
