Adds GL 25 premium cap made of TpCh260 with PTFE-coated silicone seal

The Duran Group, a laboratory and industry glassware manufacturer based in Mainz, Germany, has added the GL 25 premium cap to its product range.

Made from a highly resistant material and suitable for chemically and thermally demanding processes, due to its high temperature resistance – from –196 °C to +260°C – the GL 25 is said to be ideal for demanding sterilisation processes such as hot air or dry heat sterilisation and depyrogenation at 260°C and is therefore especially suitable for use in the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industries.

No colour additives are used, so there is no risk of dyes leaching into the product, and a PTFE-coated silicone sealing disc seals the bottles tightly, making it suitable for storing and transporting sensitive products.

The GL 25 fits Duran laboratory glass bottles and is available in transparent and brown glass.

The company also offers customised colourations such as black-lacquered laboratory glass bottles for conducting blind studies.
