HydroWhirl Poseidon removes scum rings and tougher residues

A new PTFE tank washing nozzle from Bete of Lewes, East Sussex delivers a high impact spray action against internal surfaces of tanks and vessels for effective removal of scum rings, or tougher residues.

Called the HydroWhirl Poseidon, the nozzle is suitable for cleaning and wash down applications in the pharmaceutical and chemical, food and beverage and general processing industries.

The HydroWhirl Poseidon has a simple, yet innovative nozzle head, which provides reliable flow-through of water and cleaning solutions through a rotating head at the tip of the assembly. The combination of the spray pattern and the impact with a slow and nearly constant speed rotation results in a targeted cleaning action that quickly breaks up and washes away contamination, including stubborn residues.

The nozzle is offers 360º omni-directional coverage and requires lower pressures and therefore uses less water than conventional static tank washers. It is also easy to disassemble, inspect and reassemble using basic hand tools.

The HydroWhirl is made from FDA-approved materials for use in Clean-in-Place (CIP) applications.
