Impact Analytical, a US-based contract analytical testing laboratory, has hired four people and expanded its services to meet growing demand.
The new services include:
- Elemental Analysis Laboratory for in-house testing with mass balance, impurity analysis, testing for fillers, salts and USP 2232 and 233
- Ultra Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), offering method conversion, development and validation services
- Stability testing, where on-site chambers evaluate time, temperature and humidity
- Tablet dissolution, which tests bioavailability, therapeutic effectiveness and uniform product quality.
The company has appointed Tom Sanders as associate scientist, thermal and mechanical properties; two analytical technologists, Sheron Walker in the liquid separations laboratory and Debbie Beuthin in the gas separations laboratory; and Lee Koski as a consultant in the Elemental Analysis Laboratory.
Eric Hill, marketing manager at Impact Analytical, said the new Elemental Analysis Laboratory, improved techniques and new equipment would advance the company’s ability to provide efficient and cost-effective analytical testing services.
Impact Analytical works with more than 300 companies worldwide in industries including pharmaceuticals, medical devices, packaging and specialist chemical.
