John Farrell named as Chief Operating Officer of ProductLife

He brings a track record of working with R&D business functions in the pharma and medical devices industries

Life sciences outsourcing and consulting services specialist ProductLife Group (PLG) has named John Farrell as its Chief Operating Officer (COO) to strengthen its global footprint and integrate core capabilities.

Farrell has a 25-year track record working with R&D business functions in various parts of the pharmaceutical and medical devices industries. His experience covers regulatory affairs, regulatory operations, clinical development, medical affairs, manufacturing and quality. He joins PLG from CSC, where he was Head of Life Sciences, Regulatory Services, providing on-site and near shore services to US and EU clients as well as off-shore services based in China.

Farrell's appointment is in line with other leadership changes at PLG. Pierre Cuny recently announced his decision to split the functions of Chairman and CEO to reinforce the management structure. Cuny retains the role of Chairman while Adam Sherlock, formerly Group Chief of Sales, Marketing and Strategic Development, has been appointed CEO.
