Julabo launches Magio circulator range

Published: 3-Mar-2021

The series boasts an overall operating temperature range between -50 and 300 °C

Julabo has introduced Magio circulators, designed for the increasing temperature requirements in laboratories and industry.

The devices are available in various combinations and sizes and can be used for extreme temperature applications thanks to selected accessories. They operate within temperature ranges of -50 to 200 °C and 20 to 300 °C, with a heating capacity of up to 3 kW. Owing to the high heating and cooling capacity, the company says, short heat-up and cool-down times are guaranteed. The refrigerated circulators work at higher ambient temperatures up to 40 °C.

The refrigerated circulators feature a temperature range of -50 to 200 °C and a heating capacity of 2 kW, and are designed for research, material testing and technical systems. The bridge mounted circulators offer temperatures from 20 to 300 °C and a heating capacity of 3 kW (MX-Z) or 2 kW (MS-Z). They can be used with a bath tank with a filling volume up to 100 litres and a width of 31 to 66 cm. The heating circulators offer the same temperature ranges and heating capacity of the bridge mounted circulators, and are focused on the “precise temperature control of external applications,” the company says.

The devices can output values of up to 31 l/min or 0.92 bar (pressure) and -0.4 bar (suction). The pressure/suction pump is continuously adjustable and can, therefore, be easily adapted to pressure- or volume-sensitive external applications.

The TFT touch display offers a multilingual user interface. Three pre-defined main screens show data and graphics with different application focuses, while the support function assists with further detailed questions. For ease of use, all operating elements and safety functions can be operated from the front. The mains switch on the top of the circulator switches the circulator and refrigeration unit on and off simultaneously.

The devices’ interfaces allow remote control, data management, and integration into process structures. An external Pt100 connection, USB, RS232, and Ethernet are permanently integrated, and analog interfaces are available as an option.
