Lec Medical moves medical fridge manufacturing to England

Moving from Wales, manufacturing will now be under the same roof as Lec’s customer service centre, allowing the team to work closer with their customers and suppliers

Lec Medical is delighted to announce that it has moved its UK manufacturing. The medical refrigeration suppliers have transferred operations from Buckley in North Wales, to a purpose-built facility at the main Glen Dimplex Headquarters in Prescot, Merseyside.

The new facility, featuring the latest technology, is under the same roof as Lec’s award-winning customer service centre, and will allow the Lec Medical team to work closer with their customers and suppliers.

The official opening took place on Monday 3 June, when Mark Davison, Managing Director of Glen Dimplex Home Appliances, cut the ribbon to the new premises.

Mike Butt, Managing Director at Lec Medical, said: “This is a significant investment in the Lec Medical division by the Glen Dimplex Group, and is in line with the philosophy of putting its employees and its customers at the heart of everything it does.
