Lundbeck promotes Marie-Laure Pochon

Reduces executive management group from six to four members

Danish pharmaceutical firm H. Lundbeck (Lundbeck) has appointed Marie-Laure Pochon as executive vice president of Commercial Operations.

Previously Pochon was chief executive of Lundbeck France and regional vp for France, Belgium, UK, Spain, Italy, Turkey and Germany at Lundbeck.

Pochon will join the firm’s Executive Management group, which has been reduced from six to four members.

Research and development activities will be concentrated under the leadership of Anders Gersel Pedersen, EVP, R&D.

Peter Høngaard Andersen will leave the group, but continue as part of Lundbeck's corporate management team as SVP, External Scientific Relations & Patents.

Lars Bang will also leave the Executive Management group, but continue to play a role in Lundbeck's corporate management team as senior vp, Supply Operations & Engineering, leading Lundbeck's global supply chain.

Lundbeck's Executive Management Group now consists of Ulf Wiinberg, president and ceo; Anders Götzsche, executive vp and chief financial officer; Pedersen and Pochon.
