MRC Technology (MRCT), a UK-based life science medical research charity, has appointed Edward Bliss in the new role of General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Bliss will join MRCT on 16 March from Shire Pharmaceuticals, where he is currently Legal Director. Prior to that he was General Counsel and Company Secretary at Ark Therapeutics Group and he joined Ark from private practice with the international life sciences law firm Covington and Burling.
His responsibilities at MRCT will include licensing, governance, compliance, and in-house legal affairs.
