Midatech, a global leader in the design, synthesis and manufacture of nanomedicines based on its gold glycan coated nanoparticle (GNP) technology, headquartered in Abingdon, UK, has appointed Nick Robbins-Cherry as Finance Director, further strengthening the company’s senior management team.
Robbins-Cherry is a chartered accountant with more than 15 years of experience in senior commercial and finance roles and a proven track record in mergers and acquisitions (M&A).
He joins Midatech from The Marketing Practice, a business-to-business marketing agency, where he was Finance and Commercial Director since January 2013.
Prior to that, Robbins-Cherry was with CACI, the UK subsidiary of CACI International, a provider of marketing solutions and IT systems, and Invocom, a provider of technical consultancy services to the telecommunications industry, in senior financial positions. He has also held financial positions at LifeGard Technologies, Janssen-Cilag and ICI.
