Applies paper and clear self-adhesive labels to a variety of container shapes

Newman Labelling Systems, a UK supplier of specialist pharmaceutical labelling systems, has added the S150 fully automatic labelling system to its portfolio.

A development of the NV2 model, the S150 applies paper and clear self-adhesive labels to a wide range of products, including cylindrical, rectangular or square containers from 10–150mm diameter in glass, plastic, metal or composite materials at a speed of 150 labels a minute. The system requires virtually no change parts, making it easy and efficient to use.

The S150 incorporates a self-teach system for label length and a straight label arm, adjustable in all axes. It comes with full variable speed drives, hand wheel adjustment and is manufactured from stainless steel for durability and longevity.

The user interface includes a Siemens colour touch screen display with password access. Numerous optional configurations are available to suit customer needs, including choice of printing systems, missing overprint and label detectors, bar code reading systems and rotary infeed and outfeed tables.

The S150 is also compatible with vision system equipment to accommodate the latest track and trace applications.
