From its comprehensive pharmaceutical machinery programme the Optima Group, of Schwaebisch Hall in Germany, will be showing a machine for the automated processing of nested syringes.

The INOVA SV122 fills and closes prefilled syringes into tubs. The continuously moving rotary pistons carry out a high-precision dosing process within a format range up to 50ml. This very compact machine is said to offer outstanding output in a two-lane version, and if required can be upgraded by installing isolator technology and vacuum application for the filling and plugging processes.

On display from Optima Group company Medicon will be ImmuCoat, a modular solution for immuno-assay coatings. The line processes all micro-well formats, strips and individual wells. The machine’s basic modules are easily integrated by a ‘Plug-and-Play’ system that not only allows almost unlimited scaling of the line’s capacity, but also facilitates easy changeover. All process stations required for the coating process, from loading and unloading to short and long-term incubation, are available.
