Paragon Bioservices, a US contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO), has appointed Carolyn Phillips as Vice President, Quality. She will have oversight responsibility for all aspects of quality at Paragon to ensure the highest standards.
Phillips is a microbiologist and has more than over 25 years of industry experience at companies such as BioReliance, Human Genome Sciences and most recently at Genzyme where she led four large quality control groups that included microbiology, chemistry, validation and operations.
She has comprehensive knowledge of Quality and FDA guidelines and has demonstrated success in the areas of Quality Control, Validation, Compliance, remediation and implementation of Quality Systems and Contamination Control.
Since 2007, Phillips has been a delegate to an ISO Working Group responsible for establishing standards for biocontamination control in cleanrooms.
