Patheon appoints Global Business Controller

Andrew Long will build the firm's financial planning and performance management tools and processes

Patheon, a provider of drug development and delivery solutions to the pharma and biopharma industries, has appointed Andrew Long as Senior Vice President and Global Business Controller. Long will report to Stuart Grant, Chief Financial Officer and will be based at the company’s headquarters in Durham, NC, US.

Long will focus on Patheon’s financial planning and performance management tools and processes.

He brings more than 25 years of experience to the firm. He was most recently Vice President, Global Finance of the Fisher Scientific Group for Thermo Fisher Scientific, a biotechnology product development company.

Prior to joining Thermo Fisher, Long was Vice President, Worldwide Finance and Supply Chain Management at Cambrex Corporation. Previously, Long held roles at Eaton Corporation, Emerson Electric and Abbott Laboratories.
