Computer printable labels from CILS allow variable data to be sealed permanently

The CILS-91000TN computer printable labels from CILS International, based in Worthing, West Sussex, UK, feature a clear ‘wrap-around’ protective tail to seal printed variable data permanently, ensuring complete print protection. They are printed on a standard desktop printer.

The firm says these new labels provide an immediate high-strength adhesion to all tubes, vials and IVF straws ensuring a permanent bond during cryogenic freezer storage (–196°C) and steam sterilisation cycles.

Variable data such as barcodes and batch numbers can be added, ‘in-lab, on-demand’ from a standard laser or thermal transfer printer, eliminating smudged or illegible handwritten data.

Manufactured to any size, shape and colour-coded design, CILS-91000TN labels are available in a CILS low-profile ultra durable polyester material to fit into existing tube racks.
