Sepha will show its new range of semi-automatic deblistering machines.

Manual, automatic and semi-automatic machines accommodate varying batch sizes and operating speeds. The new Semi-Automatic Press-Out machine uses the same fully adjustable tooling as the hand-operated Press-Out Manual but with faster, motorised throughput at 40 push-thru blisters per minute. The semi-automatic Mini Press-Out Universal handles push-thru as well as child-resistant, peelable or alu/alu blisters.

Alternative BlisterScan models are now available to leak test a range of sampling sizes, minimizing changes to QA sampling procedures when switching test methods. Sepha's BlisterScan identifies leaks and weak seals, as small as 10 microns, in finished pharmaceutical blister packs. BlisterScan is a fully validatable test method as the Pass / Fail status for each pocket is determined by pre-programmed criteria, not operator judgement.

In-process controls monitor validity during each test cycle. BlisterScan also identifies the precise pocket which leaks - speeding up diagnosis of problems on the blister line and minimising further rejects. BlisterScan's test cycle is 2-4 minutes and the tool-less product changeover takes only 30 seconds.
