Sinclair Research announces new operational leadership

Sinclair Research, a specialist provider of preclinical services, is pleased to announce new operational leadership with the arrival of Michael Eliel as Senior Director of Operations. The company has also named Anthony Rohr as Consultant for special projects and management improvement.

Eliel will have responsibility for the company’s in vivo operational processes and also help to drive the quality and efficiency of Sinclair’s research technical staff to keep pace with the growth of the company’s IND enabling toxicology business.

Eliel joins Sinclair Research from MPI Laboratories in Kalamazoo, Michigan, here he worked in safety pharmacology, laboratory operations and managed more than 200 people. He has vast managerial experience in a regulatory toxicology environment and has managed an organisation through times of explosive growth, which makes him uniquely suited to help Sinclair.

Rohr was the Senior Director of laboratory operations at MPI Laboratories before joining the Sinclair team. He started his career as a research technician and developed into an operational leader managing more than 600 staff members.

Rohr will be supporting the implementation of special projects and sharing his experience and expertise with electronic data capture systems.

“Mike and Anthony bring invaluable insight into the development of a highly functional operational team of research personnel,” said Alex Wakefield, VP of Research and Operations.

“They have proven experience in growing a research organisation in both size and quality of service.”
