Biotage, a Swedish supplier of tools and technology for medicinal and analytical chemistry, has introduced Syro Wave, a microwave and parallel peptide synthesizer.

Biotage, a Swedish supplier of tools and technology for medicinal and analytical chemistry, has introduced Syro Wave, a microwave and parallel peptide synthesizer.

Biotage and MultiSynTech have jointly developed the system, which combines the performance of the MultiSynTech robotic synthesizer with Biotage's microwave technology.

The company says the Syro Wave is the only system on the market to offer both microwave and parallel peptide synthesis capabilities. It is said to increase productivity, yield and purity, while cutting costs and saving time.
