For projects focused on nanoscale technology enabled solutions for the healthcare sector
The UK’s Technology Strategy Board, in partnership with the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), have jointly allocated up to £9m to support business-led collaborative research projects focused on nanoscale technology enabled solutions for the healthcare sector, specifically in the areas of diagnostics and targeted therapeutics.
The Technology Strategy Board will invest up to £3m to support involvement by businesses, while EPSRC will invest up to £6m to support participation by academic institutions.
The organisations are looking for projects where nanoscale technologies are at the heart of the innovation.
The Nanoscale Technology Enabled Healthcare competition opens on 1 November and applications must be received by 13 December.
