New products highlight the company\'s commitment to measurement quality in life science environments

Vaisala, the global innovator of systems and instrumentation that measure environmental parameters, has launched three products that highlight the company's commitment to measurement quality in life science environments.

The company has not only recreated its existing continuous monitoring software viewLinc to provide a new industry-best standard for usability, customisable features and mobile access in monitoring systems, it is also now offering the simplest single-use cold chain data logger available.

Additionally, Vaisala is introducing a new humidity and temperature transmitter series, the HUMICAP HMW90, which provides superior long-term stability and accuracy up to ±1.7% RH. The optional display and the capability to show and output a variety of parameters make this transmitter a truly versatile measurement solution, the company says.

‘Each of these products reduces risks in several ways: they all safeguard data, ensuring continuous records for compliance with regulators and they all measure environmental, product storage and processing conditions with superb accuracy,’ said Vaisala business segment manager Jim Tennermann. ‘With each solution users know they are getting values they can have confidence in and documentation that meets compliance requirements.’

A newcomer to the cold chain solutions market, Vaisala is introducing a simple but rugged solution for tracking time and temperatures in pharma/biotech logistics and distribution applications. Vaisala life science product manager Jon Aldous said: ‘The last two decades of working closely with customers in the life sciences have shown us that the easier to use your solution is, the better it serves the needs of the customer.

‘The CCL100 logger is just one more example of a Vaisala device created with usability and reliability as the guiding principles.’
