Wainwright Associates changes name to PharmaLex UK Ltd

UK consultancy specialising in EU regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance will broaden its service offering

Wainwright Associates has changed its name PharmaLex UK Services Limited.

The UK-based consultancy specialising in EU regulatory affairs and pharmacovigilance said the change of name is the culmination of an exciting year.

In August 2015, Wainwright Associates became part of YES Pharma Services (YES), a knowledge-based service provider in the pharmaceutical, medical device and cosmetics sector based in Friedrichsdorf, Germany.

In October last year, YES Pharma Services merged with PharmaLex, a leading service provider for the pharmaceutical industry.

The newly formed European group has now become the PharmaLex Group.

Jon Jeffery, Managing Director of the newly named PharmaLex UK, says the new international structure and associated brand represent another positive step for the firm.

As part of the PharmaLex Group, the firm says it will be able to offer a number of further advantages for clients.

These include: more flexible staffing solutions and an enhanced service portfolio offering a complete range of solutions for development consulting, scientific affairs, regulatory affairs, and pharmacovigilance from a single, unified service provider.

The firm will also now have a global reach while retaining a local presence.

The PharmaLex Group has 19 international offices in operation and plans to continue to develop local affiliates in key geographical regions.
