Isopak will introduce the powerful Dott Bonapace CPR-18 rotary tablet press at the PPMA show.

Available exclusively in the UK and Ireland from Isopak, the CPR-18 is being introduced by the company as a "high quality alternative to comparable types of equipment built to less exacting standards from other parts of the world."

The CPR-18 tablet press complements the In-Cap capsule filling machine and is built in Europe. It has been developed for a variety of operations including r&d, laboratories and for medium production batches.

Also on display will be Isopak's CPR-6 instrumented single punch tablet press, which is renowned for its advanced software and is an ideal bench-top unit.

Capable of producing up to 2,500 tablets an hour, its robust construction and versatility make it ideal for use in university laboratories and for pharmaceutical companies requiring small production batches or for r&d.

Two major benefits are the low noise level and ease of tool change, to enable different sizes of tablets to be produced one after the other. Another is convenience as the CPR-6 can be mounted on a trolley - which holds the instrumentation hardware - so it can be easily moved around or put out of the way when it is not needed.

Also present on the Isopak stand will be representatives of Italian manufacturer MG2, a company that offers automatic capsule filling machines.
