Accord is easy integrate
Pharmacopeia subsidiary Synopsys Scientific Systems has released version 3.1.4 of its leading desktop chemical database and chemical spreadsheet systems. Accord for Access allows chemistry to be treated as a first class datatype, like numbers and text.
The new release includes improved integration and compatibility with other products in the Accord range, along with other enhancements. It uses version 3.1 of the Accord Chemistry Engine, which has new features to make it easier to use. Atom and Bond query features are now supported, allowing the user to further refine search queries. The package also colours substructure matches, making it easy to see the portion of the structure that contains the query moiety. Support for reading and writing stereochemical SMILES is also included.
An additional feature is the ability to include the Accord Active X Chemistry Control in forms. This extends the scope of the applications to allow the display of chemistry in subforms and tab controls.
