Air-cooled Compak convertible seals it
Resulting from two years of operational trials, the air-cooled Compak Convertible from Enercon provides an energy efficient and taper-evident method of sealing on pharmaceutical lines.
The Compak Convertible uses low-frequency power inverters to deliver an easily controllable field of energy, within which consistently reliable seals can be formed. This guarantees the security of the container, both from possible tampering and contamination.
Forced air cooling of the induction heating coil and the electronic control unit enables the machine to run at line speeds of up to 30m/min. Upgrading the sealer to a fully water-cooled system allows production of up to 100m/minute to be achieved.
