Ampoules, bottles, syringes and cartridges
Bausch + Stroebel is presenting its wide range of machines, including a representative selection of machines for processing ampoules, bottles, syringes and cartridges. These will portray both the current state-of-the-art technology as well as trends for future production methods.
The highlight in ampoule processing is a complete high-capacity line comprising washer, sterilising tunnel, filling and sealing machine, AFV 5090 and ring coder. It is supplemented by an ampoule inspection machine HDB 7080, and a high-speed labeler, ESA 1025.
Filling powder products is demonstrated by filling and closing vials with a weight-dosing machine, WPS 5070, while liquid products are filled on the exhibited FFV 8024 which is a continuous linear-motion filling and closing machine.
As an example for the processing of single-use syringes, so-called ‚nests' of syringes are filled and closed on the machine type SFM 5071. Upstream of this machine is an automatic unpacker which removes the bags and opens the tubs in which the nests are delivered.
The exhibits for industrial applications are complemented by various semi-automatic machines for individual working steps, so that a representative cross-section of the Bausch + Stroebel range of machines is on view emphasising the leading role the company plays in the aseptic filling of pharmaceuticals.
