Archon tackles the hardest problem

For use even in hard water areas, the latest Archon washdown stations have been designed to provide steam-heated hot water cheaply, efficiently and safely with minimal maintenance. The three-model range from CT Technical Products includes guns, hoses and other accessories.

Archon stations incorporate a mixing valve in which steam pressure keeps the valve shut until water pressure, acting through a diaphragm, opens it. This prevents scalding steam being delivered if the water supply should fail for any reason.

Steam and water are mixed in a venturi and the temperature is controlled by adjusting the steam and water inlet valves. The maximum discharge temperature is 88°C.
