Aura cabinets contain fumes to new levels

Labcaire's latest range of Aura filtration fume cupboards are an efficient way to contain fume hazards in the laboratory. Using air recirculation technology, the units meet the latest BS 7989 requirements for recirculating fume cupboard design.

The Aura range is easy to install where connections to external ductwork are not practical or economical. Rather than expelling fumes to the environment, the system passes air through a deep carbon filter to adsorb fumes completely within the cabinet before venting clean air safely back into the laboratory. The cabinets use integrated monitoring and internal sensors to maximise operational efficiency.

The air speed through the cabinet, or face velocity, exceeds the industry standard 0.5m/sec. for high performance, and an extra large fixed height aperture increases accessibility.
