Biopartners promotes Savoy to ceo
Biopartners has appointed Dr Conrad Savoy as its new ceo and president. Former ceo Jean-Noel Treilles, who steered the company through its acquisition by Bioton alongside former chief financial officer Walter Haeusermann, remains with Biopartners in an advisory consultancy role.
Savoy joined Biopartners in 2001 as head of pharma development. Initially heading up Biopartners" growth hormone development portfolio, he was promoted to chief scientific officer, working closely with Treilles after the company was acquired by Bioton, and appointed to the board at the same time.
Prior to joining Biopartners, Savoy spent 10 years at Hoffmann-La Roche in various senior positions in global drug development.
