CellBxHealth signs new statement of work with US-based pharmaceutical company

The Parsortix platform harvests CTCs from blood and can be integrated with existing laboratory instruments for comprehensive downstream analysis

CelLBxHealth, a CTC (circulating tumour cell) intelligence company specialising in innovative solutions for use in research, drug development and clinical oncology, has signed a new Statement of Work (SOW) — under its existing Master Services Agreement — with a US-based pharmaceutical company.

The SOW, valued at approximately $65,000, covers the processing of approximately 100 patient samples using the company’s proprietary Parsortix platform to isolate and harvest CTCs for downstream molecular analysis, including mRNA analysis.

Parsortix’s label-free microfluidic technology enriches and recovers intact CTCs, preserving valuable cellular material for further molecular characterisation.

This capability provides pharmaceutical researchers with access to tumour-derived cells from a simple blood draw, supporting biomarker discovery, translational research and a deeper understanding of cancer biology.

The additional contract reflects continued engagement with an established pharmaceutical customer, further demonstrating the value of Parsortix as an enabling technology in oncology research and drug development.

This supports CelLBxHealth’s strategy to expand biopharmaceutical partnerships and recurring commercial opportunities.

Dr Jan Groen, Executive Chairman of CelLBxHealth, commented: “We are pleased to expand our relationship with our established US pharmaceutical partner."

"This additional agreement demonstrates the value of Parsortix in enabling advanced molecular analysis while reinforcing growing commercial demand, repeat business opportunities and our strategy to drive sustainable revenue growth within the biopharmaceutical sector.”
