Christ launches two water systems
Stuttgart-based pure water specialist Christ, a member of the Swiss-basedChrist Water Technology Group, has developed and launched two Osmotron water systems.
The new Osmotron basicline is a low-cost alternative to currently available compact systems without compromising process technology. It produces purified water by a combination of reverse osmosis and electro-deionisation (EDI) stages, preceded by a filter and a water softener to generate feedwater of the necessary quality.
The company has also launched the Osmotron 2, the successor to its existing Osmotron water purification system. The new model differs in three important respects from its predecessor: it operates fully automatically, its configuration is extremely flexible and it has a new external design. The automation means that no analogue meters or indicators, for example for pressures and flow rates, are necessary since the measured values are connected directly to the controller, where they can be digitally displayed.
