Chromium specialist Elementis, located in Staines, UK, today announced that ceo Geoff Gaywood has resigned and stepped down from the board. No reason for his departure was given.


Chromium specialist Elementis, located in Staines, UK, today announced that ceo Geoff Gaywood has resigned and stepped down from the board. No reason for his departure was given.

Edward Bramson, the company's non-executive chairman, will now become executive chairman and will continue the group-wide strategic review that is currently underway, the results of which are expected to be announced during the second half of this year.

The board assured investors that, excluding any changes resulting from the review, the company's current trading performance is in line with its expectations for continued improvement in the second half of the year.
