Clariant pharmaceuticals business in Italy under new leadership

Dr Aldo Magnini has been appointed as managing director of Clariant\'s pharmaceuticals business in Italy, with full responsibility for the manufacturing and development capabilities of APIs, antivirals, quinolones, nucleosides and veterinary medicines at Clariant\'s Origgio and Isso centres of excellence.


Dr Aldo Magnini has been appointed as managing director of Clariant's pharmaceuticals business in Italy, with full responsibility for the manufacturing and development capabilities of APIs, antivirals, quinolones, nucleosides and veterinary medicines at Clariant's Origgio and Isso centres of excellence.

Most recently, Dr Magnini served as the vice president of sales and marketing at Cambrex Profarmaco.

'Dr Magnini is well known in the world pharmaceutical industry for his work in the commercialisation of APIs,' said Dr Ralf Pfirmann, global director of market management at Clariant Pharmaceuticals. 'At Clariant, we are committed to continuing the tradition of excellence that has been established at our Origgio and Isso operations and to improving this capability to meet the evolving needs of the pharmaceutical industry.'
