BASF launched two film-coating products. Kollicoat IR White is derived from BASF's proprietary X-fast technology, which ensures extremely rapid dispersibility of the product in water. The second new product is Kollicoat Protect, which is a combination of Kollicoat IR and polyvinyl alcohol. It provides high level of moisture protection for sensitive drugs as well as taste masking. Further line extensions are in the product pipeline, the company says.
