Croatian pack information assessed for EU entry

Must comply with EU rules by June 2012


The European Medicines Agency (EMA) is assessing the quality of Croatian language information provided on packaging for European Union (EU) medicines.

Croatia is scheduled to join the EU in June 2012 and EMA wants to ensure Croatian-language medicine information complies with EU information rules before that date. Packs with poor translations might be blocked from sale afterwards.
