Cut cleaning times

New sanitary pumps from Flux Pumps, of Dorset in the UK, feature fast strip-down to reduce dramatically the downtime needed for cleaning. The F560S 3A for pharmaceutical applications is said to be particularly suitable for fragile media such as emulsions, and can handle viscosities up to 30,000mPa at flowrates up to 50 litres/minute. Its stainless steel construction and low parts count enables it to be stripped down, cleaned and reassembled in minutes. It can be supplied with single-phase or compressed air motors.

The F427 sanitary pump can process a variety of thin liquids up to 120°C in applications requiring sterilisation. It can handle viscosities up to 700mPa at delivery rates up to 220 litres/minute with a maximum 12 metres delivery head. Wear-resistant seals and bearings as well as quick action pump/motor couplings help to minimise downtime.
