Denison chooses Sessions labeller
An RC30 round product labelling machine from UK manufacturer Sessions of York has been chosen by US company Denison Pharmaceuticals, of Rhode Island, for its versatility and unusual handling system. The machine is being used to apply full-wrap labels to white plastic containers for nasal sprays at speeds of up to 80 units/min. After the product has passed through the labelling station, it moves from the indexing conveyor through a turning block that reorientates it base downwards onto an outfeed conveyor ready for packing.
The machine was supplied by Sessions' North American agent, Vancouver-based Abacus Label Systems, and was custom-modified to meet Denison's needs.
