EU ministers asked to extend coumarin duty

The European Commission has proposed that Euro 3,479/tonne anti-dumping duties on exports into the EU from China of anticoagulant precursor coumarin be extended to cover cargoes from India, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.


The European Commission has proposed that Euro 3,479/tonne anti-dumping duties on exports into the EU from China of anticoagulant precursor coumarin be extended to cover cargoes from India, Thailand, Indonesia and Malaysia.

The Commission fears that dumped Chinese exports are being diverted through these countries to evade the duties.
