Fine label is not so inscrutable

A label produced for small ampoules by German company Schreiner MediPharm has been awarded first prize in an annual competition held by the US-based Tag and Label Manufacturers Institute

Schreiner MediPharm's label features tiny Japanese characters – a challenge even for specialists. The label also includes a white surface area prepared for supplementary hot stamping. Each single label is tested with high-resolution, fully electronic cameras that recognise even the smallest deviations.
