Frontage expands management team

Frontage, a US provider of drug development services and preclinical, bioanalytical, analytical, and formulation services to the global biopharmaceutical industry, has appointed Samir Ghodbane as its general manager of CMC services and CTM manufacturing. Ghodbane has led drug development and technical services at Actavis, Alpharma and Wyeth.

Daniel Tang has joined as vice president of DMPK and bioassay for the Frontage China operations, and will be located in Shanghai. Tang formerly managed DMPK operations and business development at ChemPartner. He was also director of bioanalytical services at Quest Pharmaceutical.

Ron Connolly has been appointed to a new role as senior vice president of business development. He will be responsible for sales, marketing, and strategic business initiatives at Frontage. For the last seven years, Connolly has held several roles at the firm, including developing and expanding client relationships, as well as various operational roles as head of US operations.
