Full metal jacket for diaphragm pump series

Milton Roy UK has extended its G series of mechanically actuated diaphragm pumps with the addition of the new GM series. The all-metal dosing pumps can be multiplexed for automatic process applications.

Multiplexing is possible with the same or different heads, flow rates and materials, the company says, and servos can be added for automatic stroke control. Stroke counting is also feasible, which will enable the pumps to be used for batch process applications.

Models are available to provide flow rates from 2 – 500l/hr at pressures of up to 12 bar. Single or double mechanically actuated PTFE diaphragms can be specified, while stainless steel, PP and PVDF liquid ends are supplied as standard.

The use of ball-bearings and minimal moving components reduces friction and eliminates the build-up of heat in the drive, making the pumps robust and reliable, the company claims.
