GemcoValve Introduces New K-Valve

US company GemcoValve, from Middlesex, New Jersey, has introduced the K Valve. The sanitary K Valve is designed to FDA guidelines eliminating threads, keyways and crevices where residual product can get potentially trapped.

A unique feature is the split body design that allows the K-valve to be completely disassembled, by hand without tools. Standard quick clamps allow fast installation and removal as well as quick and easy inspection and cleaning. The K valve is offered in sizes from 3-8 inches (75- 200mm) in practically any weldable alloy with the option of #4 satin or #7 mirror finish. Pressure and vacuum applications are engineered to order. The K-Valve is designed for charging/discharging of process equipment or in-line applications.
