Glaxo's good start
At GlaxoSmithKline's inaugural AGM, held in London recently, its ceo Dr Jean-Pierre Garnier drew shareholders' attention to the priorities of the company. 'The company has made a good start in its first quarter and integration is on-track,' he said.
'Our priorities are clear to improve research and development productivity, achieve excellence in product commercialisation, be the partner of choice for in-licensing and work in partnership with governments, agencies and charities to expand access to our medicines.'
