Groupe Novasep splits into two networks

In January 2005, Groupe Novasep and Dynamic Synthesis merged to form a new group, which is organized to extensively address the specific needs of the pharmaceutical, food, cosmetics, agrochemicals and specialty chemicals industries.

It has now been decided that the group will operate on the market as two distinct networks: Novasep Synthesis and Novasep Process. The former will provide r&d and custom synthesis, from lab to industrial scale, with the combined expertise of the following business lines: Dynamit Nobel (specialized in hazardous chemistry), Rohner (transition metal catalysis), Finorga (experts in chiral chemistry) and Seripharm (specialized in high potency products); the latter will offer research and purification solutions based on chromatography, ion exchange, membranes, crystallization and downstream bioprocesses, and its network will include: Novasep SAS (chromatography and crystallization solutions for pharmaceutical companies), Applexion (chromatography, ion exchange for the foods and biotech markets) and Orelis (specialized in cross-flow filtration).

The organization has been defined to: maximize synergies between the resources of the group; give customers access to all the resources of the group via a single local contact; and keep the local management empowered to ensure an entrepreneurial and reactive behaviour.

A new logo has been designed to represent all the business lines and activities of the group.
